Floor Space: Studio floor space is 9m x 12m x 5m | |
Lighting: A state-of-the-art lighting grid, suspended from the 5m high ceiling, holds eight tungsten balanced 4ft kino-flo lights plus 5 Photon Beard fluorescents, all linked to a remote dimmer control in the control room adjacent to the studio area. Pantograph suspension allow the lights to be lowered to 1m above floor level. Extra lighting on stands include two x 4ft kino-flo’s, two x 2ft kino-flo’s, four x 650watt and four x 100watt dedo’s. | |
| In addition to lighting control, the control room offers a 4-channel video mixer and a 24 channel audio mixer feeding a DVCam recorder, as well as a Clearcom comms system. | |
Other equipment: Four metres above floor level, the grid also supports a curved dual rail along the studio perimeter, suitable for hanging backdrops. A curved blue-screen covers one side of the studio. Four layer soundproof glazing allows visual contact between control room and the studio floor. | |
Other spaces available:
There are three small rooms suitable for wardrobe, make-up and changing, a 7 x 6m open area, and a private 4 x3m office suitable for meetings.
